AUTHOR: Lisa
Distance: 9.5 miles (15 km)
Ascent: 440m
Bog level: Low (but can be slippery descending to Dale Dike if it has been wet)
Good for: A great long but (mostly) runnable ascent up onto Derwent Edge where you are rewarded with an awesome view! Post run pub stop at the Strines Inn.
To access this run by public transport take the 273/274/275 from Sheffield and get off at Hollow Meadows Methodist Church. From there join the run by taking the small road on the North side of the A57 for about 400m until the bridleway from Moscar Cross joins it. Continue the run from here over Ughill Moor (there is a small path that cuts the corner).
